  • Team North America takes the 6th Daimler & Chrysler Cup 2008!


    Team North America took the 6th Daimler & Chrysler Cup with a fairly convincing margin, 74.62 versus Team Europe's 75.48 for the net stroke average of the best 80% in each team.
    This was the fourth win for North America, Europe has two wins.

    The event was played in fine weather and 131 players participated in the event, 66 for Team North America, 65 for Team Europe.

    In the individual competition the Swedish Chamber (SCCJ) took a clean sweep. Eiji Takagi was best net with a score of 68.0 while Finn Havaleschka and Anders Sjöstedt shared the best gross with 72 strokes, one over par on the Atsugi Kokusai C.C. in Kanagawa Prefecture.
