    The 7th Cup will be played on Friday 2 October, at the same venue as in previous years, the Atsugi Kokusai Country Club in Kanagawa Prefecture.

    The 2008 Cup
    Team North America took the 6th Daimler & Chrysler Cup with a fairly convincing margin, 74.62 versus Team Europe's 75.48 for the net stroke average of the best 80% in each team.

    This was the fourth win for North America, Europe has two wins (in 2003 and 2007).

    The event was played in fine weather and 131 players participated in the event, 66 for Team North America, 65 for Team Europe.
